iPads now available for loan
We now have two iPads for loan plus another for use in the Library. The service is for UHSM staff and the loan period is 7 days. All borrowers will be provided with short iPad guide plus the Library team can help you get started. We have also pre-installed a number of apps which you may find useful in your work.

New Health & Wellbeing DVDs
We have again been successful in bidding for external funding to develop our Health & Wellbeing collection. We have purchased nearly 100 DVDs to help you keep fit, healthy and happy! Please
click here to see a full list of titles available. DVDs can be borrowed by all staff free of charge for our normal loan period of three weeks. All titles are also on our
catalogue and any DVDs on loan can be reserved online.

Web of Knowledge and EndNote Web access
We are pleased to announce that the Web of Knowledge database is now accessible via Athens until March 2012.
The Web of Knowledge is a premier research platform for information in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. It provides a single point of access and cross database searching capability for the Web of Science & a range of other databases offered by Thomson ISI, including:
* Science Citation Index expanded - 1900 to date
* Journal Citation Reports (JCR)
* Social Sciences Citation Index - 1956 to date
* BIOSIS Previews 1969 to date

400 new e-books added to our collection
We have recently gained access to an additional 400 e-books including Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Clinical Neurology and many more. They have all been added to our online catalogue and can be accessed with an Athens account from any computer.
