AMEDEO

AMEDEO offers weekly updates from journal subsets of interest. The free facility has a user friendly website which can be used to set up alerts. Using AMEDEO you can:

CASH (Current Awareness Service for Health)

CASH aims to keep health professionals up-to-date with new developments for the benefit of patient care and improved decision making. It is a collaborative service provided by librarians from around England who monitor and capture content from across 3 broad sectors - Primary Care, Secondary Care and Mental Health. CASH produces the following bulletins:

BMJ Evidence Updates

BMJ Evidence updates is a free email alerting service tailored to personal clinical interests which notifies you of important new research about the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, aetiology and economics of medical conditions. All citations (from over 120 premier clinical journals) are pre-rated for quality by research staff, then rated for clinical relevance and interest by at least 3 members of a worldwide panel of practicing physicians.

Database auto alerts

Be regularly alerted by email each time your search is run on a database such as Medline, CINAHL, Embase or NHS Evidence. Either we can do the search and set up the alert for you, or we can show you how to do it yourself. Please contact us for further information.

The Week Bulletin (for Chief Execs and their teams)

RSS news feeds

Our home page lists a number of clinical and non-clinical specialities, each of which links to a collection of quality websites reporting the very latest news concerning that speciality. If your speciality does not appear in the list, please contact us.

Zetoc Alerts

Zetoc is a database containing the contents pages of around 20,00 current journals and 16,000 conference proceedings published each year. Enables you to create a personalised email alerting service consisting of relevant new articles’ contents pages and articles containing particular author names or title words. NHS Athens required.
