Searching the Catalogue

Underneath the search box there are options to search by title, author, keyword etc.

Just select the option you are interested in by clicking in the radio button next to it.

For example: Searching for a title:

If you select Title the full alphabetical list of book titles appears.

You can type the words of your topic in the search box and search the list for all those titles in which the keywords appear.

A list of the book titles held by the library is displayed, along with information on whether the book is reference only, available or out on loan.

Generally, if no titles appear then the library does not hold a book with the words you have just searched for in the title. This does not mean that there are no books mentioning your topic as it may be a chapter or part of a book and the catalogue is not indexed down to this level.
