Multimedia Room

You can access our Multimedia Room, outside of normal Library opening hours, 7 days a week.

To register, just come into the Library and ask a member of the Library team. We just need to see your Trust ID badge and record your name. We will then arrange for your ID badge to be activated. Once activated, you can use it to swipe into the Multimedia Room outside of Library opening hours.

The out of hours facility is provided by the Library and not the Education & Research Centre. Therefore you will be permitted to access the Library’s Multimedia Room only. All other areas and rooms within the ERC will be out of bounds. If the Atrium is used, during out of hours, it must be left clean and tidy and the same Code of Conduct designed for Library users applies.

You can print out of hours, but printouts must be collected from the Library Desk within 3 days of printing.

Night Staff and Withington Staff

If you are working nights or are based at Withington, you can borrow and return books without actually visiting the Library. For further information on this scheme and to download a book request form, please click here.
