NHS NET Access

The ERC Library's Multimedia Room provides access to 18 NHS PCs for all UHSM staff. All PCs have access to the Trust intranet, the internet and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. One of the NHS PCs has access to EndNote.

You can print from any NHS PC. Please collect and pay for your printouts at the Library desk.
Printouts cost 6p per A4 sheet.

The Multimedia Room also provides access to 19 University of Manchester networked PCs.
There is a University printer in the Multimedia Room and a Print Credit Top-Up Station is located in the Library's photocopier room.

All staff can access the Multimedia Room outside of Library opening hours. You will need your UHSM ID badge to enter the ERC and to swipe into the Library. The out of hours entrance is the next door along from the Library main entrance in the atrium.

Printing out of hours

You can print out of hours from the University network as the printer is situated in the Multimedia Room.
You can not print from the NHS Network out of hours.

The out of hours facility is provided by the Library and not the Education & Research Centre. Therefore you will be permitted to access the Library’s Multimedia Room only. All other areas and rooms within the ERC will be out of bounds.
