Leadership books
We have recently added over 30 new titles to our general management/leadership collection. All titles can be searched for and reserved (if out on loan) via our website catalogue. Suggestions for new titles are welcome.
Library outreach
We are happy to visit you and your colleagues at your place of work to advise on the following:
• the information resources available to you
• how to apply for an Athens account
• how to conduct a literature search
• finding the evidence
• training on searching electronic databases
• accessing electronic journals
• making the most of the library
We can also provide you and your ward/department with a collection of promotional materials such as posters, leaflets, pens etc.
Please contact us if you would like to arrange a visit or would like us to attend one of your staff meetings to promote the Library.
Accessing other libraries
GMHelp is a scheme that allows all NHS staff working in Greater Manchester including students on placement to join any NHS library in Greater Manchester in addition to the library which serves your trust. Just present your staff or student ID at the library you wish to join.
