Session 2
"Searching for a book of journal online" will be held at the ERC Library on the 15th September, 12.00pm-12.30pm and on the 16th of September, 3.00pm - 3.30pm.
Please ring us for further information or to book a place.
New Library opening hours
We are very pleased to announce that from Monday the 2nd August our opening hours will be 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Access to our multimedia room is available 24 hours a day.
Literature Searching service
If you are looking for information on a specific topic, or seeking evidence based information, we can support you and save you time by carrying out a literature search for you.
To request a literature search CLICK HERE and complete the request form. We will then undertake a comprehensive search across several databases to provide you with quality information to support your research. This is a free service.
If you would like to discuss your research question prior to the literature search or would like to work on your search alongside a librarian, please contact us on 291 5780
PubMed links to Library journals
We have now linked all of our print and electronic journals to PubMed. This means, after carrying out a search in PubMed, you will be able to see which journals are available via the ERC Library.
To see how this works, click on the link ‘Databases and the Web’ at the top of our home page and then click on the link to PubMed. Alternatively, search for the ‘south manchester’ filter in your My NCBI account. Please contact us if you require further information or any assistance in setting this up.
Out of hours book returns
We now have a book returns box which is available for all your book returns outside of our opening hours. It is situated in front of the library’s main entrance.
